Broken Blade Beginner Guide
Broken Blade is a race-and-weapon-focused Roblox RPG where race choice quietly defines your damage ceiling and where the right weapon turns a S-tier race into a one-shot boss killer. This beginner guide covers rerolling, the first codes to claim, and the first altar you should unlock.
Quick Tip: Claim every active code in the first 5 minutes — Holies codes are time-limited (25K use cap).

First Steps: Reroll and Codes
Your race determines your weapon synergy. S-tier races (Elf, Nether, Veneer) are not just 'better stats' — they actively multiply the damage of specific weapon types. Aim to reroll into one of them before investing time in a build.
- Open Settings → Codes and claim BB10KLIKES, BB10KCCU, BB20KCCU for Sky Keys.
- Join the official Discord and claim BBDC20K (and earlier BBDC codes) for Holies.
- Use the reroll system until you hit Elf (sword), Nether (burst), or Veneer (katana).
If you are stuck on Human, you can still progress to early islands, but plan to reroll before pushing mid-game content.
First Altar Priority
Altars are the second-biggest damage source after your race. The damage altars stack multiplicatively with your race and weapon passives, so unlocking them early is the fastest way to scale.
- Find the nearest altar hub on your starter island.
- Unlock HP altar first if you are dying during boss attempts.
- Prioritize the damage altar second — this is what pushes you from millions to billions of single-attack damage.
- Re-check the altar tab after every major island unlock; later altars multiply your existing damage.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best race for beginners?
Dwarves or Giant (B-tier). Both are durable enough to survive early mistakes and let you learn boss patterns. Reroll to S-tier once you understand the combat loop.
Are the codes permanent?
BB* milestone codes stay active long-term. BBDC* Holies codes are limited to 25K total uses — claim them within the first week of joining the Discord.
