Explosion Weapon Unlock Guide
Explosion is the limited-edition weapon added in the June 2026 update. It is gated behind farming two materials and then summoning a boss — this is the fastest route.

Step 1: Farm Helmet Materials
Helmet materials drop from almost any boss, but harder bosses drop more. Nibblehane and Gotenhain are the best early-game farming spots because they have both boss density and cat spawns.
Combine boss kills with cat collection. Defeat a boss, then run around the island collecting cats while the boss respawns.
Step 2: Collect Eye Patch From Cats
Cats spawn randomly on islands and can drop Eye Patch materials in addition to Helmet. Always collect them while farming.
Step 3: Summon Headless Knight on Explosion Island
Travel to Explosion Island once you have enough materials. Summon the Headless Knight boss and defeat it to unlock the Explosion weapon. A Nether or Veneer race will let you solo the boss more easily.
