Build a Base RNG Beginner & Upgrade Guide

Start by making one complete Roll → Build → Defend loop work, then improve the account systems that increase useful rolls and placement flexibility. Do not chase a rare-looking object before the current base can use it.

Quick Tip: Claim visible Index progress and test one skill or placement change at a time so you know what improved the next wave.

Table of Contents

Finish the First Loop

  1. Roll until you have at least one block or trap and one damage role.
  2. Place the delaying role toward first contact and keep ranged damage protected behind it.
  3. Start a wave and watch the first place enemies pass useful coverage.
  4. Keep that failure point as the baseline for the next test.

Build Repeatable Progress

  • Claim Index rewards instead of leaving collection value unused.
  • Prioritize visible luck, rolling, and placement improvements that help every future layout.
  • Upgrade objects already contributing to the current defense before spending on unused rolls.
  • Retest the same wave after one change.

Avoid Early Waste

A rare item does not automatically solve an uncovered lane. Avoid changing luck, item levels, and the whole layout in one test because the result will not reveal which change helped.
