Rarity Tiers Explained

Fish in Fishing Master come in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Higher rarity fish sell for exponentially more Coins but have lower catch rates. Legendary fish are typically the end-goal of progression.

Legendary Fish (S-Tier — End Game Goal)

Legendary fish are the rarest and most valuable catches. They unlock special achievements and are the main draw for veteran players. Most Legendary fish are zone-locked to Ocean/Deep Sea.

  • [Legendary 1] — Deep Sea exclusive, sells for 5,000 Coins
  • [Legendary 2] — Ocean exclusive, sells for 3,000 Coins
  • [Legendary 3] — River exclusive, sells for 1,500 Coins

Epic Fish (A-Tier — Strong Income)

Epic fish are uncommon but reliable income sources. Worth keeping for the bestiary completion bonus rather than selling immediately.

Rare Fish (B-Tier — Solid Income)

Rare fish are the workhorses of mid-game farming. Catch them consistently in River and Ocean zones.

Common & Uncommon Fish (C/D-Tier — Sell Quickly)

Common and Uncommon fish are best for early-game Coins. Sell them immediately — don't keep them in your inventory. They are vendor trash in late game.
