Quick Tip: Warmth decays before hunger. Restock fire wood well before the warmth gauge drops below 50%.

Meter Reference
| Meter | Safe Threshold | Critical Zone | Recovery |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warmth | >50% | <25% | Fire / shelter / insulated clothing |
| Hunger | >40% | <15% | Foraged food / cooked meat |
| Health | >70% | <30% | Healing item or revive token |
| Stamina | >30% | <10% | Rest briefly without freezing |
Day-Night Scheduler
- Morning — forage + check weather (next blizzard ETA).
- Midday — hunt + cook food for the night buffer.
- Evening — re-light main fire, refill wood reserve.
- Night — stay inside shelter unless chasing a time-limited event.
If stamina is below 25% at night, switch to a defensive posture. Chasing resources at night drains more stamina than it recovers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the most common cause of failed runs?
Running out of warmth on day 6 or 7. Cold nights are longer in the second half.
How do revive tokens work?
REVIVE1 lets you respawn once mid-run. Spend it before you reach day 5 or you'll waste it.
