First 10 minutes in Survive Zombie Arena

Survive Zombie Arena is a wave-based survival shooter with 6 classes, a 4-slot weapon system, and the new Galactic Crate gacha (added 2026-06-09). New players should focus on a safe class pick and saving Credits for their first Mythical pull, not chasing damage.

Redeem your starter codes first: GALACTIC and Zombies. These give you a Credits head start that compounds over the first 10 waves.

Pick Scout or Brawler for your first run

Scout (C-tier) and Brawler (B-tier) are the two safest classes for new players. Scout's Grappling Hook lets you reposition out of zombie swarms — forgiving for players still learning wave timing. Brawler's Ground Slam stuns nearby zombies, giving you breathing room to learn the reload cadence. Save the Mythical Overclocker reroll for after you understand the DPS window.

Spend starter Credits on 2 Epic weapons

Each Galactic Crate pull costs ~2,500 Credits with a 1% Mythical drop rate. As a new player you will average 250 Credits per pull before your first Mythical — bad expected value. Spend your starter Credits on 2 Epic weapons and farm Credits for pulls once you have a stable loadout.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level should I be before pulling Galactic Crates?

Wait until you have 20,000+ Credits in reserve. Single pulls are 2,500 Credits each, 10-pulls are 25,000 with a guaranteed Epic or higher. The pity guarantee is worth the variance.

Is the Overclocker the best class for beginners?

No. Overclocker is the highest DPS but it is a glass cannon with no survivability tools. Beginners should start with Scout or Brawler and switch to Overclocker once they understand the wave timing.
